Plunge

2. Follow this by a dip to our magnificent  old epsom salt plunge pool, in our gorgeous up cycled whisky barrel pool. Either plunging for a  5 -10 seconds or staying in for the maximum of 3 minutes is advised if temp is between 10-12 and you are more of a seasoned cold water fan.

Cold water has become very popular in recent times and has incredible benefits not only for the body but it is amazing for your mental health. This an added extra of Epsom salts, your body is in for a treat! Epsom salts have commonly been associated with stress relief, muscle relief, soothing of irritating skin conditions, such as psoriasis, as well as simple emotional improvement.

As magnesium is absorbed through the skin, it helps trigger the release of serotonin, a chemical compound in the brain that has been directly linked to happiness and positive feelings.

  • Fires up your lymphatic system

  • Improves circulation and heart health

  • Reduces inflammation

  • Boost your mood

  • Boosts energy levels

  • Improves circulation

Hot Tub

3.  As you jump out of the plunge, full of zest and life, you can move onto our beautiful powerful cedar hot tub, specifically chosen to massage the entire spine.  This hot tub has 3 liner jets, allowing the entire spinal cord to be massaged. The hot tub is kept at a nice 38 degrees so just sit back and relax and enjoy the elements, whatever the season.

Recommended time is 10 -15 mins…

Then repeat steps 1 to 3,  2 -3 times to achieve that full spa journey experience.

Not only that, we will be on hand with a delicious selection of mint teas to serve you, hand picked from the garden if in season. Plus a lovely selection of healthy snacks.
