Yoga workshop and spa; hot tub, plunge pool & sauna. Our busy lives, and the financial strain that we are all under, a yoga retreat or holiday is not an option for lots of us. Although, we all need one! How about a half day retreat? Escape from our stressful lives and responsibilities for an afternoon of quality “me” time; a yoga workshop followed by some relaxing time in the spa; hot tub, sauna and plunge pool. Drinks and snacks will also be provided.

The 2 hour Iyengar yoga workshop will be suitable for all levels. We will break down the poses and build them up; you work at the level that suits you; beginners will be supported and more experienced students will be challenged! There will be plenty of restorative poses for a deeply relaxing afternoon. The yoga workshop will be followed by 1hr and 45minutes in the spa. detox the body in the sauna, improve circulation with a plunge in the cold water barrel and then relax in the hot tub. Tea and snacks will be served in the spa.

The group will be kept small, maximum of 9 students, for a calming and recharging afternoon. Yoga helps to build strength and increase mobility.

Please bring your own mat and a blanket. Please also bring any other yoga equipment that you have. You can borrow what you don't have. Please bring swimwear, flip flops and a towel for the spa. Iyengar yoga is accessible to students of all ages. We focus on alignment in the poses, which is why we sometimes use props so that the poses are accessible to all. You don't have to be flexible to do Iyengar yoga! This is why it is the preferred style of yoga for sporty people. You will build strength and improve mobility. If there is any doubt whether you do or don't do a pose at this time do not do. Please tell me and I will offer you a modified or alternative pose. The class is not a substitute for proper medical advice. If you suffer from specific injuries or health conditions it is best to consult your doctor first.
