Once a Month Breathwork class

Breathing is something we do naturally every day and every night, regardless of whether we are awake or asleep, or even conscious. Whilst breathing is automatic, it is also something we can control; however, most people do not pay attention to the way they breath and as a result most of us do not breathe properly or to our full potential, which can be unhealthy for both the mind and our physical health.

Breath work practice has been around for centuries; however, science is just beginning to catch up and is starting to provide evidence of all the benefits of conscious and effective breathing practices.

It has been shown to help with conditions like anxiety, insomnia, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and ADHD.  It can also help us to become physically healthier by stabilizing blood pressure and strengthening the respiratory and immune systems.

 The goal of coming to breathwork classes is to increase awareness of our breath and learn how to connect with it and breath properly. We will be learning breathing techniques and exercises that help to cleanse and energise our bodies and minds and promote a healthy feeling of inner peace and wellbeing. As with everything, the more consistent your practice the more beneficial this will be so the techniques you  learn can be used whenever required in day to day life.
